INTRODUCTION
Every year it seems to get hotter and hotter. How hot was your summer? Was it the hottest you ever remembered? Global warming does not just affect our summer. It also affects our winter. New York City had no snow this winter. Why? Can global warming be the cause?

FUN STUFF
Do one of the following activities for task #1.
A. Using AppleWorks' drawing or painting section(s), draw a picture or cartoon dipicting any aspect of global warming.
B. Interview your parent or other adult. Ask them what they know about global warming. If they need your expertise, explain to them what global warming is. Use AppleWorks' wordprocessing to record their responses.
Do one of the following activities for task #2.
A. Make up a song that explains the causes or effects of global warming.
B. Take a walk in your neighborhood and take pictures of machinery that may be contributing to global warming. Use AppleWorks' wordprocessing.
Do one of the following activities for task #3.
A. Draw a diagram that shows the 3 parts of the greenhouse effect use AppleWorks' drawing or painting .
B. Make up a riddle about the greenhouse effect. Use AppleWorks' wordrocessing.

A. Make up a news story about what might happen if we don't stop global warming. Use AppleWorks' wordprocessing.
Do one of the following activities for task #5.
A. Design a poster that encourages everybody to save the earth by slowing down global warming. Use AppleWorks' Drawing or Painting.
B. Send an e-mail to at least 3 friends or 1 government agencies telling them about how you feel about global warming, and ask them to share their thoughts with you.
