Our mission is to provide our students with the skills and knowledge they will need to become successful, productive members of society and leaders in the next millenium. We are located in the South Bronx and serve a population of 893 students. P.S. 60 offers programs designed to challenge and enable each child to reach his or her fullest potential. We foster an enthusiasm and appreciation for knowledge and learning by providing a wide array of educational experiences. We encourage all our students to cultivate their talents and abilities. Through a partnership with our parents and community, P.S. 60 strives to create respect for self and others.
