NYC Drug Prevention Program - A Brief Overview
Dear Parents and Students:
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Alan D. Cohen and I am the Director of the Drug Prevention and Attendance Improvement Programs. My e-mail address is acohen@nycboe.net
Attendance is the key to learning. Our children need to attend school every day. That is why attendance is our top priority here in District 8. In order to encourage good attendance, we are continuing our incentive program for students. As part of this program, schools will recognize their students who have excellent attendance by placing their names on the school's attendance bulletin board. We want our children to be proud of their good attendance.
